J G Smaill Ltd work on many different plumbing projects from new builds, home alterations and extensions, cafes and restaurants to industrial warehouses and factories. 

Domestic plumbing incorporates alterations, kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, ensuites and maintenance such as leaking taps and pipes.

As part of commercial plumbing projects, J G Smaill Ltd will put together the design proposal for consent which is submitted to local council before the project can commence. This design shows all sizes, falls and gradients of drainage work to be undertaken on the site and is required for consent. We complete a large amount of buildings for retail, factories and industrial workshops – all types of commercial spaces.

With a booming rental business in Dunedin, J G Smaill Ltd work with a number of builders and investors in the rental property industry. The team undertake maintenance work on student rental properties and installations on new builds of student housing. 

With the new 2GP where there is going to be more of focus on condensed housing. We are able to offer designs/quotes for the new services to be brought into the boundaries of the new lots i.e. new water, sewerage, stormwater, etc.

Dunedin City Council require RPZ valves to be installed on the boundary of each commercial property. We have been involved with completing many of these around the city area. All new commercial builds or renovated commercial properties will need these to comply with DCC requirements.
